A Reading Room, Not a Classroom

Reading-Led Format

Each programme is structured around curated reading material, not lectures. Participants engage with the content at their own pace, supported by guided discussion.

Small, Considered Cohorts

Cohorts are kept deliberately small — between eight and twelve participants — so that discussion remains substantive and unhurried.

No Advice, No Pressure

Lyonell programmes are educational and reflective in scope. No financial advice is offered or implied. Participants leave with better vocabulary, not a product to sign.

Singapore Context

All reading material is written around Singapore frameworks — CPF Life, SRS, LPA documentation, and the local regulatory vocabulary relevant to residents here.

Designed for Adults 40+

The questions addressed in each programme reflect the actual concerns of adults in mid-life and beyond — not generic personal finance content aimed at a younger audience.

Thoughtfully Designed Materials

Every programme includes clothbound workbooks, glossary cards, and discussion notebooks — materials designed to be used and kept, not discarded after the session.

Which Programme Suits Your Reading Aims?

Cohort places are limited. If you have questions about a specific programme's scope, schedule, or format, we are glad to correspond before you commit.

Frequently Asked

Are these programmes regulated financial advice? +

No. Lyonell programmes are educational reading programmes. No financial advice, regulated services, or personalised recommendations are provided. Participants seeking advice on their specific circumstances should consult a licensed financial adviser.

How many participants are in each cohort? +

Cohort sizes are intentionally small. The Pre-Retirement workshop and Estate Reading Series accommodate eight to twelve participants. The Family Money Reading Circle is capped at ten. This keeps discussion unhurried and considered.
